A Midsummer Night's Dream at St Michael's Without, Bath

Trio Paradis play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3.30pm at St Michael's Church: informal music events which are 'pay-what-you-feel' to ensure all can attend. 

The music for May's concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the second movement of Trio Hob XV:31 in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Turina and Rachmaninov.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. St Michael's Café is open - you can meet friends and make new ones and then enjoy live music. There's no need to book, although RSVP's are appreciated. Turn up early for best choice of seats as these concerts are popular.
