A Night at the Opera at Malmesbury Abbey

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) bring their popular Café Concerts to Malmesbury on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open half an hour before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

Every concert is different, with a range of musical styles, brought together by a theme.

This month's programme is a selection of well-known music from operas, including Purcell's Dido's Lament, Habañera from Carmen, Meditation from Thaïs, a selection from Puccini's Madam Butterfly, and a quartet from Verdi's Rigoletto.

Concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donations invited. No need to book, but turn up early for best seats, as these events are bound to be popular!…
