A Tour of the British Isles at Midsomer Norton Town Park

After the enforced break  from live performance, Trio Paradis make their return with a 'Summer  Staycation Special', performing 'A Tour of the British Isles' at the new  amphitheatre in Midsomer Norton Town Park.   Please bring a cushion (for the amphitheatre) or a chair, and picnics are welcome. Music  to be performed includes 'The Skye Boat Song',  'My Love is like a Red,  Red Rose', 'O Waly Waly', 'Scarborough Fair' and 'Londonderry Air' as  well as jazz numbers such as 'Stormy Weather' and 'The Owl & the  Pussycat', and rarely heard classical gems: the 'Yorkshire Dales Suite'  by Armstrong Gibbs and 'Cornish Boat Song' by Cyril Scott. The concert starts at 12.30pm and lasts approximately an hour. Entrance  is free with donations invited, but booking at  www.ticketsource.co.uk/msw is strongly recommended as, if the weather is  wet, the concert will move indoors to the Town Hall, where only those  with pre-booked seats will be admitted due to limited space.
