About the event
Trio Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello - play a Palm Court Trio in Midsomer Norton Town Hall on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (February-December).
September's programme comprises movements from trios of the Classical and Romantic eras, and includes music by Haydn, the inventor of the piano trio, Mozart, Beethoven and Mendelssohn, together with works by female composers, Mel Bonis, Fanny Mendelssohn, Cecile Chaminade and local composer Kate Loder.
The concert lasts about 45-60 minutes including a short interval, and is suitable for all ages, including families. Refreshments on sale from 12 noon. Entrance is by donation with a retiring collection. Limited seating, booking advised. Reserve seats at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/msw.
