Daughters of the Muse at Midsomer Norton

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 12.30pm at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.

To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March, our March Café Concert programme is Daughters of the Muse - music by women composers, including Germaine Tailleferre, Lili Boulanger, Dora Bright, Cécile Chaminade, Rebecca Clark and Rosalind Ellicott.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert. There's no need to book, just turn up early for best choice of seat, and maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
