Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month (except January) at 11am at The David Hall: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music.
To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March, our March Café Concert programme is Daughters of the Muse - music by women composers, including Germaine Tailleferre, Lili Boulanger, Dora Bright, Cécile Chaminade, Rebecca Clark and Rosalind Ellicott.
Concert lasts c45m. Entrance - or rather exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There's no need to book, but turn up early to be sure of a table and best choice of cakes as these events are popular.
