Daughters of the Muse at The David Hall South Petherton

Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 11am at The David Hall: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

March’s concert consists entirely of music by women composers, to tie in with International Women’s Day, and includes music by Charlotte Sohy, Clara Schumann (the Andante from her Piano Trio) and the first movement of Rebecca Clarke's dramatic Trio which was composed in response to the events of the First World War.

Concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with donations invited. No need to book, but turn up early to be sure of a table as these events are popular. All ages welcome, including children.
