Trio Paradis play a Café Concert at the Athenaeum on the first Friday afternoon of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3.00pm: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café after the concert, where you can meet friends for a chat.

Our March concert is a collection of music by women composers to mark International Women’s Day (8th March). The programme includes the Phantasy Trio by Irish composer Joan Trimble, and works by Rosalind Ellicott, Elfrida Andrée, Adela Maddison, Dora Pejacevic, Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There is a pop-up cafe serving tea, coffee…
