Fantasies, Serenades & Scherzos at Malmesbury Abbey

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) bring their popular Café Concerts to Malmesbury on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open half an hour before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

Every concert is different, with a range of musical styles, brought together by a theme.

May's programme is a collection of music inspired by love and flights of  fancy: from well-known (Moonlight Serenade, Schumann Fantasy Piece,  Schubert Serenade) to little-known gems such as a dazzling Scherzo by  Cécile Chaminade, an ethereal Scherzo by Blair Fairchild, and a charming  Serenade by Scandinavian Romantic composer, Laura Netzel.
