Flower Gardens at St John's Keynsham

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin and Linda Stocks - cello) play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (except December) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal feel-good community events with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.

Our programme for May is inspired by a variety of flowers... and gardens, with music by Lili Boulanger - D'un Jardin clair, Muriel Herbert, Rud Langgaard: Fjeldblomster, Dora Pejacevic Violets, Franz Schubert Heidenröslein, Germaine Tailleferre Fleurs de France, and more. As it's nearly June, roses are featured, including Fauré: Roses d'Isphahan, Roses from the South by Johann Strauss and Honeysuckle Rose by Thomas 'Fats' Waller.
