Trio Paradis play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3.30pm at St Michael's Church: informal music events which are 'pay-what-you-feel' with a retiring collection, to ensure all can attend.
St Michael's Café is open before the concert, where you can meet friends and make new ones and then enjoy live music.
Our programme for May-June is inspired by a variety of flowers... and gardens, with music by Lili Boulanger - D'un Jardin clair, Muriel Herbert, Rud Langgaard: Fjeldblomster, Dora Pejacevic Violets, Franz Schubert Heidenröslein, Germaine Tailleferre Fleurs de France, and more. As it's nearly June, roses are featured, including Fauré: Roses d'Isphahan, Roses from the South by Johann Strauss and Honeysuckle Rose by Thomas 'Fats' Waller.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - are available in the pop-up café half…
