Planes, Trains & Automobiles at Midsomer Norton

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 12.30pm at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.

August’s concert is for all the family and includes music about trains - Little Train of the Caipira, the Orient Express, Chattanooga Choo-Choo…, a helicopter, jet plane, bicycle - and several other modes of transport. Bring a bicycle bell or a shaker if you’d like to join in! Our violinist for this month’s concerts is Sara Stagg.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert. There's no need to book, just turn up early for best choice of seat,…
