Romantic Trios at Leigh-on-Mendip Church

Trio  Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda  Stocks - cello -  play a café concert at St Giles' Church on the first Friday afternoon of each month except February (April-September concerts will be in the church, most likely moving to the village hall for October-March concerts}: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.

September's programme features piano trio movements by two pairs of husband & wife composers: Clara and Robert Schumann and Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, along with music by Schubert and other 19th Century composers.

The concert lasts about 45m and is suitable for all ages, including  families. Refreshments will be available in the church café before the concert. Entrance is free with a retiring collection on a pay-what-you-feel basis. Booking not necessary - just turn up.
