Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It's £3.50-£4 for a cake and a drink.
December’s music is inspired by ice, snow and the Advent/Christmas season, with several sleigh rides and festive numbers …along with a few quieter, more reflective pieces such as ‘Snowflakes’ by Palmgren.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance - or rather, exit(!) - is by donation. There's no need to book, just turn up - maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
