Spring Song at St John's Keynsham

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O'Shea - violin and Linda Stocks - cello) play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (except December) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal community events with a pop-up café open from c12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.

March’s programme is inspired by the season of spring and includes the recently rediscovered Trio by Austrian Jewish composer Carl Frühling, Gaubert Spring Morning and works by Cécile Chaminade, Ivor Gurney, Frank Bridge and others.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, via a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - are available in the pop-up café 45 mins before the concert. There's no need to book, just…
