Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 10.45am at Holy Trinity Church: informal music events with a café open from 10am where you can meet friends over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
July’s concert is a collection of iconic film themes - including music from 'Dr Zhivago', 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Death in Venice' alongside musical numbers such as 'Another Op'nin', Another Show' from 'Kiss me, Kate', 'Some Enchanted Evening', 'Summertime', 'Night & Day' and more...
The concert lasts around 45mins and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There's no need to book, although RSVPs are appreciated - just turn up early for best seats and choice of cake as these concerts are very popular.
