Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 12.30pm at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café from 12pm where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.
July’s concert is a collection of iconic film themes - including music from 'Dr Zhivago', 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Death in Venice' alongside musical numbers such as 'Another Op'nin', Another Show' from 'Kiss me, Kate', 'Some Enchanted Evening', 'Summertime', 'Night & Day' and more...
Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes - are on sale half an hour before the concert. There's no need to book, just turn up early for best choice of seat, and maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
