Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month (Feb-Dec) at 11am at The David Hall: informal music events with a café open from 10.30am, where you can meet friends over tea/coffee and delicious home-made cakes.
July’s concert is a collection of iconic film themes - including music from 'Dr Zhivago', 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Death in Venice' alongside musical numbers such as 'Another Op'nin', Another Show' from 'Kiss me, Kate', 'Some Enchanted Evening', 'Summertime', 'Night & Day' and more...
Concert lasts c45m and entrance - or rather exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, via a retiring collection. There's no need to book, but turn up early to be sure of a table and best choice of cakes as these events are very popular.
