About the event
Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin and Linda Stocks - cello) play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (except December) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal feel-good community events with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.
June's concert is a collection of iconic film themes - including music from 'Dr Zhivago', 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Death in Venice' alongside musical numbers such as 'Another Op'nin', Another Show' from 'Kiss me, Kate', 'Some Enchanted Evening', 'Summertime', 'Night & Day' and more...
Concerts last c45mins and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, via a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - are available in the pop-up café…
