Tango! at Christ Church Frome

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month at 1.15pm at Christ Church: a themed 45-minute concert of mainly classical music, introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café open from 12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.

Tango! traces the development of the iconic South American dance, from its origins in the ports of Argentina and Uruguay during the last quarter of the 19th century to its transition to the twentieth century concert hall and music theatre.

An RSVP via our website is appreciated, but you can just turn up - maybe bring a cushion for the pew. Christ Church can be a bit chilly so please dress warmly. As of 2026 there are now a few blankets provided! Trio Paradis Cafe…
