Classical & Romantic Trios: His & Hers at Christchurch, Frome NEW VENUE

Trio Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello -  play a Palm Court concert in Frome - now at their new venue of Christchurch on the first Thursday afternoon of each month (February-December).

September's programme comprises movements from trios of the Classical and Romantic eras, and includes music by Haydn, the inventor of the piano trio, Mozart, Beethoven and Mendelssohn, together with works by female composers, Mel Bonis, Fanny Mendelssohn, Cecile Chaminade and local composer Kate Loder.

The concert lasts about 45 minutes and is suitable for all ages, including families. Refreshments may be on sale from 1.30pm. Entrance is by donation with a retiring collection. Limited seating, booking strongly advised. Reserve seats at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/msw.
