The English Romantics at St John's Keynsham

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin and Linda Stocks - cello) play a monthly cafe concert on the last Friday of each month (except December) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal feel-good community events with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.

April’s Café Concert programme is a collection of beautiful music by English composers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, among them Charles Villiers Stanford, Frank Bridge, Ernest Austin and Alice Verne-Bredt.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - are available in the pop-up café about 45 mins before the concert. There's no need to book, just turn up early for best…
