The Music of Trees at Warminster Athenaeum

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert at Warminster Civic Centre on the first Friday afternoon of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3.00pm: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café after the concert, where you can meet friends for a chat.

September's programme is inspired by trees and forests, with music by Sibelius (Birch and Fir trees, among others), Massenet (Lime Trees) and a forest scene from a Rimsky-Korsakov opera.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. There is a pop-up cafe before the concert from c2.30pm serving tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes, where you can chat with the performers, meet friends and make new ones.
