Trio Paradis play a monthly 'Imperial' Café Concert on the last Friday of each month at 3.30pm in the fascinating historic setting of Fairfield House, Weston, Bath, former home of Haile Selassie I.
Café Concerts are informal feel-good music events with a café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes... or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.
March's music is inspired by the sea: from sailing boats to sea creatures, mariners to hornpipes, and the sea itself in all its changeable moods. Along with arrangements of traditional folk melodies there will be music by Frank Bridge, Quilter, Ireland and Gershwin.
Concerts last c45 mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments - tea, coffee & cakes - available in the café from 2.45pm. No need to book, just turn up! All welcome.
