The Sea at St Thomas's, Wells

Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Monday morning of each month at St Thomas’s: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

April's music is inspired by the sea: from sailing boats to sea creatures, mariners to hornpipes, and the sea itself in all its changing moods. Along with arrangements of traditional folk melodies there will be music by English composers including Frank Bridge, Roger Quilter and John Ireland. Children are particularly welcome at this concert.

Concerts last c45m. Entrance is by donation. You might like to bring a cushion for the pew.
