About the Event
Trio Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello - normally play concerts at the Bennett Centre Frome (first Wednesday at 1pm), Holy Trinity, Bradford (first Thursday at 10.45am), Trowbridge Park Club (first Thursday at 1.15pm) and Midsomer Norton Town Hall (first Friday at 12.30pm) each month (February-December).
During the Covid-19 lockdown and closure of our venues we will be recording our concerts live and streaming them on our YouTube channel. To view, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also subscribe on our YouTube page.
September's programme has been divided into four weekly mini-concerts which include music of all genres: from folk ('The Skye Boat Song' and Britten's arrangement of 'O Waly Waly'), light classics (Boisdeffre 'Au bord d'un ruisseau') to popular ('La Mer') and jazz ('Cry Me a River'), each lasting approx. 15 minutes.
We are delighted to welcome Susan Date and Kelvin Watson, who will read water-related poems in between some of the musical numbers.
Programmes can be found on the programmes page of the website.
