About the event
Trio  Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda  Stocks - cello -  play a Palm Court concert at St John's Church, Midsomer Norton (normally in the Town Hall) on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (February-December): informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
November's concert includes music by Dvorak (Songs My Mother Taught Me, movements from the Dumky Trio), Bartok 3 Romanian Dances and Haydn Gypsy Rondo, along with various Czardas and gypsy tunes.
The concert lasts c50m and is suitable for all ages, including  families. Refreshments including Rosemary's fabulous home-made cakes available from 12 noon. Entrance is by donation with a retiring collection. Â
