Trio Paradis - Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello - play a Palm Court Trio concert in the Assembly Room at Midsomer Norton Town Hall on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (February-December).
March's theme is 'Daughters of the Muse': music by women composers, including Amy Beach (finale from Trio), Mel Bonis (Matin & Soir), Rebecca Clarke, Lili Boulanger and other female composers, many of whose compositions have been unjustly neglected. You will also discover more about their fascinating life stories.
The concert lasts about an hour, including a short interval, and is suitable for all ages, including families. Entrance is by donation with a retiring collection. For programme click here. Home-made cakes, and tea & coffee, on sale from midday.
