Winter Landscapes at Malmesbury Abbey

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music presented by the performers, often with the addition of a poem or two read by Jackie Tong. Refreshments are available in the abbey café before and after the concert.

This month's programme features plenty of ice and snow, with sleigh rides and musical evocations of wintry landscapes: music by Purcell, Schubert, Delius, Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, Debussy and Palmgren.

There’s no need to book, though an RSVP via our website is appreciated. Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone.
